Volume grew to 8500 lambs at Masterton last Wednesday, and as expected there was a market correction on the previous week’s levels. Buyers for the better end were mainly local and Manawatu, while a regular buyer from King Country took ownership of most of the longer-term lambs. Close to half the yarding were light Romney cryptorchid, which made fair values at $80-$100.
