AHDB Dairy has updated its daily milk deliveries for UK.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Note: Figures are collated by AHDB Dairy from many of the larger UK dairy companies and are then scaled to reflect 100% of deliveries.

The UK figures were scaled on July 3, 2015 to use the provisional May figure of 1362 million litres reported by Defra.

Please note the UK daily delivery figures are now re-weighted approximately one month in arrears due to a change in source of the data.

  • UK daily deliveries for the two weeks ending July 11 averaged 41.2m litres a day, one million litres a day (2.5%) higher than the same period last year. Daily deliveries for this period were 2.9m (7.5%) higher compared with the 3-year average.
  • For the two weeks ending July 11, GB daily deliveries averaged 34.5m litres a day and were up 2.4% (0.8m litres a day) from the same period in the previous year. Daily deliveries for this period were 2.3m litres a day (7.1%) higher compared with the 3-year average.

UK daily deliveries may be slightly under-stated at certain times of the month due to minor and temporary sampling issues.

This week’s data includes provisional figures provided by one of the suppliers due to technical issues.
