The symposium on May 28 at the James Cook Hotel in Wellington will be a mixture of presentations and workshops. Speakers include ANZ economist Con Williams, chairman of the NZ Telehealth Forum, Dr John Garrett, and speakers from government, telecommunications and health industries.
RHAANZ chief executive Michelle Thompson said the symposium would be useful for the industry.
“Bringing together a large number of stakeholders to discuss the options around improved connectivity is a great opportunity for us to provide a strong, unified response which reflects the voices of rural users of telecommunications services.”
