There were approximately 400 cattle at Te Kuiti last Friday. The best of the R3 Hereford-Friesian, 565-579kg, made $2.50/kg to $2.61/kg.R2 Friesian bulls, 313kg, fetched $2.52/kg. R2 Charolais heifers, 334-384kg, earned $2.38-$2.45/kg, with 365-393kg Hereford-Friesian, $2.20/kg to $2.38/kg.
On Wednesday, prime lambs sold on par to the previous week with heavy lambs at $120-$132 and the next cut $114-$118.
