Butter prices were recorded at €283/100kg down 0.6% from the previous week. Whole milk powder prices fell 3.6% to €212/100kg. Cheddar prices fell 0.2% to €304/100kg for the week. SMP prices made a gain of 0.4% to €170/100kg.
July farmgate milk price estimate: 29.9 c/kg. The Netherland spot milk price is at 23.5c/kg.
Feed and energy cost indexes down both down. Feed costs dropped 2.4% and energy costs were down 6.1% for week 34.
