As the country remains under lockdown-enforced restrictions, farmers are reminded they must display the official New Zealand covid-19 tracer code posters.

Under alert levels two and three, all businesses and services are required to display the official QR code posters, mandated as of August 19.

Because farms are businesses and are likely to have providers and visitors coming onto the property the covid-tracer system is the most efficient means of contact tracing.

The code posters should be waterproof and must be easily visible in a prominent place at each main entrance to the farm property and yard.

Posters should be displayed where contractors, service providers and visitors get out of their vehicles, such as the woolshed, dairy shed, stock yards, house and farm office.

As a minimum, it is expected that all visitors are recorded on a sign in sheet until QR code posters are in place.
