EU to extend support for dairy products

The EU Commission has approved the extension of Private Storage Aid (PSA) for butter and skim milk powder (SMP). The scheme will now remain open 28 February 2015, two months longer than previously scheduled. This means that product placed into storage will start entering the market from December 2014 through to September 2015, depending on when it was placed into storage.
