Wool up across board

Avatar photo
Crossbred wools were strong across the board at Thursday’s Christchurch sale. Merino and mid-micron wool prices continued their stellar move higher because of runaway demand for luxury fibres, PGG Wrightson South Island auction manager Dave Burridge said.
Andy Caughey, the chief executive of Wool Impact, says he doesn’t want to give false hope, but there is in fact reason for optimism when it comes to the market for wool.
