The 25 to 27 mid range were off by 6% to 10%, PGG Wrightson South Island sales manager Dave Burridge said.
Merino wools were 2% to 4% lower.
The mid-micron and Merino prices are down off very high levels and remain at historic highs.
Crossbred prices fell after making good gains a fortnight earlier. The 30 to 35 microns were 3% to 7% cheaper and above 35 was 3% to 5% lower.
The auction offered a large yarding of mainly pre-lamb shorn fleece and hogget wool. The pass-in rate was 18%.
