The volume of store lambs at Matawhero last Friday came to just 455 head. Heavy ewes made similar money to the heavy mixed sex at $150, while medium types sold for $121-$128. Mixed-age Romney store ewes mostly sold for $137.
Prime lamb numbers lifted, the top end earned $196-$231, with the balance at $150-$184
