Tallies were up to just under 3000 store lambs at last week’s Matawhero sale. The sale went well, and local buyers helped the sale flow well. In general lambs sold well with few selling below $110. Medium to heavy lambs were in demand and this market lifted while light lambs eased slightly compared to the previous sale to $85-$93. The prime market also lifted being helped by strengthening schedules.
