After the previous week’s downwards adjustment prime lamb prices did firm marginally, and heavy types made $125-$132, medium $112-$122, and lighter, $90-$105. Heavy ewes eased slightly to $130-$140, but medium and light lines held at $105-$115 and $70-$90 respectively. Two-tooths sold on a steady market at $80-$110, and rams $90-$102.
A good sized yarding of store lambs came forward and while demand was solid the market did ease. Top lines made $85-$95, medium $70-$80, and light, $49-$65.
