The new FET tags offers sheep and goat farmers a new solution when it comes to identifying sheep visually and-or electronically.
General manager for Asia Pacific, Matthew Cashmore, is very pleased to see the release of the product in the region and is confident of success, as has been seen in other markets.
“A key point is that we now have a sheep-specific range that covers the RFID and visual requirements of the market whilst giving options for single or multishot tags to all New Zealand farmers,” Cashmore says.
This new single-shot tag for sheep is available in RFID HDX and, like the non-RFID option, both versions of the tag are offered in a nine-colour swatch enabling high-contrast marking on both the male and the female portions of the tag to maximise visibility.
The new FET tags are now available New Zealand-wide via all major rural stores and vet practices.
