There are a few companies producing face masks from NZ wool and most say they’ve sold out in recent days.
While it’s hard to find rays of sunshine in the pandemic-induced gloom, the fact consumers recognise the benefits of using wool is certainly one we can cling to.
It’s one of the many uses NZ companies are pivoting to, hoping to reverse the ascent of synthetic products.
And, with a wool strategy on the way, let’s hope the stage is set for a resurgence.
