Silver Fern Farms marketing manager Sharon Angus and sales manager Grant Howie have both resigned and Murray Brown has stepped aside from his sales manager role at Alliance.

A spokesman for SFF said Howie has bought a business in Dunedin and Angus has decided to have a career change.

Angus joined the co-operative in 2009 to develop the Silver Fern Farms brand and Howie in 2008.

Alliance people and safety manager Chris Selbie said late last year sales manager Murray Brown announced he was stepping down after more than eight years in the position.

“This doesn’t mean he will be leaving the co-operative and a further announcement will be made after a successor is appointed.

“Murray has played an important role in the development of our Pure South brand and building the strong sales foundation, which culminated in record sales revenue for the co-operative in 2017.”
