Two-year steers were few and far between with traditional lines, 315-401kg, making $3.17-$3.28/kg.
Two-year heifers, 490-531kg, made $1450-$1535, though other lines below 400kg varied across $3.00-$3.20/kg.
More than half the yarding were yearling heifers, which proved to be very popular.
Angus, 241-251kg, made $860-$890, $3.55-$3.57/kg.
Other traditional lines, 223-254kg, went for $790-$820, rising to $1030-$1130 for 320-341kg.
One-year steers weren’t met with quite the same interest but still made good money.
Simmentals, 313-354kg, were the highlight at $1170-$1310.
Traditional lines, 302-331kg, consistently made $1060-$1110.
