Avatar photo
It was a cold and showery day for those who turned up to the sheep sale at Matawhero on Friday.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Most of the sale was made up of store lambs, and they were limited with only two main lines. One big line of 149 sold for $108, while a smaller line fetched $105.

A few two-tooth prime ewes fetched $71-$76 and a handful of mixed-age ewes $69. There were no prime lambs.

A small number of store ewes made $42-$45.

About 33 feeder calves were offered and sold well. Most fetched $90-$170.
