In July, total butter production reached almost 60,000 tonnes, 2.6% above last year. Compared to earlier this year, production has been declining since seasonally peaking early in the year.
Total cheese production was down from June, but remain 7% above year-ago levels in July, reaching about 420,000 tonnes.
Production of NDM reached 73,000 tonnes in July which is 42.7% above year-ago levels.
