The 'Cold Storage' report released at the end of last week showed butter stocks grew by 25% during April 2015. Stocks are now 23% higher than they were a year ago.

Cheese stocks also expanded during April to end the month up 1% compared with the previous month and 4% higher than a year ago. Stocks of Swiss style cheeses fell by 2% during April but this was more than offset by increases in stocks of American style and other cheeses.
