Just under 700 head was offered at the Frankton dairy-beef weaner fair last Thursday. The Friesian bull average improved to $400 with the top end at $420-$500, though most fetched $350-$420. Ewes and rams were also offered and top end 2-tooth Romney ewes achieved $216 with the next cut at $170-$190 and the bottom end sold down to $157.
