Ewe throughput lowered to just over 1550 at Stortford Lodge last Monday and most traded at softer levels. A small top end of very heavy ewes held at $157.50-$171.50 and medium to good ewes earned $100-$115.50. Better light-medium held at $91-$95 with the balance discounted to $66-$82.50. Prime lamb numbers increased to 287 and buyers were thin on the ground. Good lambs were mainly $110-$124. Hereford-Friesian heifers, 541kg, softened to $2.30/kg and cows of the same breeding, 578kg, also eased to $1.65/kg. Read more in your LivestockEye.
