Ewe numbers increased to 567 head last Monday at Stortford Lodge. Most ewes were of good quality and a few returning buyers freshened competition. Heavy mixed-age ewes firmed to $181. Good ewes held at $149 and the top end of medium types improved to $138-$140 while lighter types held value at $56-$112. Just under 400 lambs were presented with all heavy to very heavy types.
