The quantity of SMP offered into PSA across all storage periods was the highest since July 2015.
The biggest offering came from Estonia with 1010t of SMP being offered into storage for the 365 day period.
Across all storage periods The Netherlands offered 625t, Belgium offered 455t, France offered 192t and Lithuania offered 164t.
For the month of October 4962t of SMP entered the PSA scheme and 3589t left the scheme. End of month stocks continued to climb reaching 27,683t.
Butter offerings into PSA were relatively stable for the week with 665t being entered into the scheme.
Netherlands offered 300t of butter, Belgium offered 165t, Lithuania offered 112t, and the UK offered 88t.
For the month of October 3439t of butter entered the PSA scheme and 17847t left the scheme. Total stocks at the end of October was 74,220t, down from the August peak of 99,467t.
Cheese offerings into PSA were relatively high for the week with 1105t being offered however volumes came from just three countries. Lithuania offered 752t, France offered 231t and The Netherlands offered 121t.
EU internal market prices were mixed for the key products compared to the preivous week. Butter fell slightly by 0.1% to €298/100kg, SMP gained 0.3% to €173/100kg, WMP was unchanged, whey powder fell 0.9% to €59/100kg.
Cheese prices were mixed with cheddar making the biggest gain of 2.8% to €295/100kg, Emmental gaining 0.6% to €381/100kg, gouda dropped 0.9% to €251/100kg and edam dropped 0.2% to €251/100kg.
