The market was impacted by poor weather at Rongotea last Wednesday, New Zealand Farmers Livestock agent Darryl Harwood reported.
Two-year Angus-cross steers, 264-374kg, made $2.16/kg to $2.27/kg. Two-year Belted Galloway bulls, 395kg, earned $2.08/kg, with 315kg steers at $2.02/kg and 314kg heifers, $1.18/kg.
Yearling Hereford-Friesian steers firmed to $2.23/kg to $2.44/kg, while heifers varied from $1.86/kg to $2.63/kg.
