Buyers were after lighter and heavier types at Rongotea last Tuesday though medium types were sticky, New Zealand Farmers Livestock agent Darryl Harwood reported. Heavier R2 Hereford-Friesians sold to $2.25/kg, and Charolais-cross, $2.37/kg. Friesian bull feeder calves made $105, and Hereford-Friesian $155-$250. Charolais-cross heifer calves realised $135, and Hereford-Friesian $105-$185.
