Overwhelming demand for Bolifor MGP+ and Bolifor MAG33 resulted in the products selling out in record time, country manager Trina Parker says.
New stock has arrived and farmers can order by contacting BEC direct, through a Farmlands account or through feed suppliers.
BEC can arrange delivery to the farm or can liaise with feed suppliers.
“The reaction to Bolifor since its Fieldays launch has been incredible, indicating that dairy farmers have been waiting for a new means of feeding magnesium.
“We had scores of farmers actively seeking us out at Fieldays in search of an alternative to messy pasture dusting,” Parker says.
The Bolifor range offered advantages over magnesium oxide and other magnesium supplements including excellent palatability, ease of application, accuracy of dosage, and high bioavailability of the vital mineral magnesium.
While traditional magnesium products are administered by pasture dusting or dosing in water, the Bolifor products can be consumed directly. They also give labour-saving efficiencies.
Both products are granulated and free flowing, making them less dusty, non-irritable to the digestive tract, and much easier to handle than commercial finely ground and dusty magnesium oxide.
