The urbanisation of New Zealand has been happening for generations, but could we have reached a tipping point where moving to the city just isn’t the way to happiness and prosperity?
Whatever the reason, it’s great to see small towns livelier.
But, more people need more infrastructure and services and the Government and councils need to make sure access to healthcare and education is easy, no matter where you live.

Exchange rate a pain point for meat export
