We all know that the increased urbanisation in the past few decades has led to fewer and fewer people having a connection to the farming world.

The chance to meet the very people who grow the food they eat is the first step to a greater understanding of the part the primary sector plays in society.

Our online communities, on balance, have probably done more harm than good when it comes to the perception of food production here.
