There was around 970 head of store lambs at Matawhero last Friday. The top end of ewe lambs fetched $110-$126.50 with lighter types at $90. Mixed-sex lambs earned $71-$90, although lighter lines were $30-$60. Better Romney 2th’s were bought at $80-$85, with medium mixed-age Romney’s at $70.
