Cattle throughput eased to around 350 head at Kaikohe last Wednesday, PGG Wrightson agent Vaughan Vujcich reported. R2 steers were of lighter weights around 320-350kg though good beef and beef-cross types sold well to $3.05/kg to $3.20/kg. Yearling steers fetched $3.25/kg, and heifers $2.50/kg to $2.80/kg.
