The volume of whole milk powder (WMP) on offer has been slightly reduced for the next auction. Fonterra now plans to offer 28,050t, 1000t less than previously forecast. The volume of WMP offered for TE145 is 78% greater than was offered at the previous auction. Fonterra had previously forecast it would offer 29,550t of WMP across the six delivery periods.
Butter volumes for the August 4 event have been revised up 5% compared with the previous forecast. There will now be 3150t of butter offered across all contract periods versus the 3000t forecast. The volume of butter offered at the previous event was 3000t.
Anhydrous milkfat (AMF) and butter volumes are unchanged from previous forecasts. There will be a total of 4200t of AMF offered and 9200t of skimmed milk powder SMP on offer.
