Fonterra will offer 13,765t of whole milk powder (WMP), 3,400t of skim milk powder (SMP), 2,000t of butter and 2,725t of anhydrous milk fat (AMF), which are all unchanged from the previous forecasts.
The volumes to be offered for WMP, SMP and butter are 9%-10% above the volume offered at the April 1 auction, while the volume of AMF offered will be the same as the auction previous. All are well below the volume offered at the April 15, 2014 auction.
The forecast volumes for the June 16 auction, released in this announcement are the same as what had been previously forecast for the June 2 auction for AMF, butter, and SMP. WMP volumes were down 2,500t with the difference being no volume offered in the contract 1 delivery period, which is usual for the second auction of the month.
There were no changes to the 12 month forecast volumes.
