- EU dairy product prices down in week 33, except for WMP (+ 1.2%). Butter -1.4%, SMP -0.9%, Cheddar -0.8%.
- Spot milk prices marginally down in NL (23 c/kg)
- Feed and energy cost indexes both lower. Feed costs -4.8%, energy costs -5.5%.
- Price increase at GDT auction on 18 August: +14.8% (to be linked with lower quantities being offered). AMF +26.6%, butter +10.8%, BMP -13.8%, cheddar +4.4%, lactose -7.8%, ren cas +3.0%, SMP +8.5%, WMP +19.1%.
