DairyCo Datum: Further milk price cuts for the New Year

Two European dairy companies will lower their milk prices early in 2015. ArlaArla Foods have announced a 2.09ppl (2.5 eurocent/kg) reduction to its on-account price, effective from 5 January 2015. As well as this the company has announced changes to AMCo member’s contracts. The butterfat reconciliation will be reduced from 0.45ppl to 0.01ppl from 1 January 2015, while a three month 0.5ppl reduction in levy will also be implemented from January.Dairy CrestDairy Crest has announced a price reduction of 1.2ppl on their standard liquid and Davidstow contracts effective from 1 February 2015.
