The purpose of the meetings was to update supply partners on the decline of global dairy markets.
The company urged suppliers to pull back on growth over the full year saying less milk for Burra enables more “superior value” production and best chance of maintaining $5.60/kg milk price.
If suppliers continued to grow, a step down increasingly likely, the company said.
