Two thousand store lambs and 1100 prime ewes went under the hammer at Dannevirke on Thursday, with lambs prices steady on the back of limited numbers and good demand.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Male lambs sold on a very steady market, with top lines to $122, while most traded at $104-$105. The top line of ewe lambs were also very heavy, forward types, and sold for $119, while most other lines made $87-$90.

A much larger offering of ewes resulted in a slight easing for the top lines to $87, while medium types were steady at $70.
