Charlton sale October 20

A small yarding of prime sheep were met with steady interest at Charlton on Thursday, David Morrison of PGG Wrightson reported.

Heavy prime lambs went for $115, medium lines $100-$105, lighter types $85-$90.

Prime ewes went as high as $85 for the heavier lines, mediums $70-$75, and lighter ewes $55-$65.

Two-tooths made similar money at $85 for good-quality lines, mediums $70, lesser types $60.

The only lines available in the store offering were ewes with lambs at foot.

These were at a similar level to the last sale at $68-$69.50 all-counted.
