While demand was steady for the prime ewe section, prices eased $5 with the bigger number harder for buyers to absorb. Top mixed-age lines fetched $80-$89, medium $71-$78, light $62-$70. Two-tooths returned $70-$91.
Two lines of breeding ewes were offered. Romney annual draft ewes, scanned-in-lamb, sold for $81, Perendale-cross, run-with-the-ram, $72.
In a mixed yarding of store lambs top lines reached $92-$95, medium $85-$88, light $65-$70.
