To help encourage young people to consider a challenging and rewarding career in agriculture and to put something back in to the community, Perrin Ag offers two scholarships each year of up to $3000 each. One scholarship is for a promising individual wishing to study agricultural or related science at undergraduate or honours level at either Lincoln or Massey universities. The other scholarship, which has been offered since 2007, is for a promising individual with whakapapa to one of the incorporations, companies or trusts for whom Perrin Ag supervise farming operations, to commence or continue agricultural or related science at undergraduate or honours level at either Lincoln or Massey universities. This year Perrin Ag awarded scholarships to Danielle Scott and Samuel Tipping.
