Prime lambs continued to strengthen in value at Tinwald on Tuesday in line with recent schedule increases, while prime ewes also had a stronger sale.

Heavy prime lambs sold at $104-$115, medium $93-$102, light $78-$91.

Heavy prime ewes fetched $81-$97, medium $72-$80, light $56-$66.

In the store market, a bigger yarding of crossbred lambs saw prices firm on recent sales. Forward lambs earned $74-$79, medium types $65-$71.

The dairy cull cow market remained steady. Heavy cows returned $1.35-$1.40/kg, lighter cows $1.20-$1.30/kg.
