Hemmings has more than a decade of management experience with national and international agricultural companies.

He will oversee the operational management of the company’s dairy effluent division in New Zealand.

“From small beginnings in 1996, Tasman Tanks has built its reputation on designing, manufacturing, and installing fully engineered and certified tanks,” Hemmings says.

“As tougher regulations around effluent storage take hold throughout NZ, our team is looking forward to assisting dairy farmers to choose the best solution for their operations.”

In addition to various management roles in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors, Hemmings has been involved in start-up companies linked to onfarm waste treatment and waste-to-energy.

Tasman Tanks has made tanks for many industries and has devoted a large part of its operations to growing its dairy effluent storage tank department.

After building its first onfarm dairy effluent tank in March 2012, the company is now at the forefront of install builds and product innovation.

“I look forward to managing a company committed to innovation and proven design that provides a long-term solution to all dairy farm effluent storage needs,” Hemmings says.

Hemmings has an agricultural science degree, specialising in all the major sciences, from Massey University.
