Lely NZ believes in a sustainable, profitable and enjoyable future in farming, which is why it continues to create products that help farmers achieve their goals.

For a National Fieldays first, Lely has live robotic milking robots operating on site G123.

A small-scale cow house will be built to host 10 cows over the four days. Lely will work with TechniPharm and Cow House Construction to talk to farmers on-site about housing cows, robotic milking and new ways of sustainable dairy farming.

Robotic milking has moved the dairy industry into a new era promising an exciting future ahead. A Lely Astronaut is the most reliable employee imaginable, available to milk for you 24/7 for years to come.

Gavin Weal and his son Stuart run a 180-cow dairy farm close to Te Awamutu and since installing the Lely Astronaut A4 they have experienced a new way of milking. Gavin explains it “takes the stress out of milking”.
