Keep It Clean with Deosan

Milk hygiene grades are frustrating and costly. They are, however, easily prevented by following an effective wash programme, regularly replacing rubberware, and routine plant inspection and maintenance

In spring Deosan launched its new Keep It Clean initiative as part of its commitment to helping New Zealand dairy farmers produce the best milk in the world.
Free for Deosan detergent customers, the Keep It Clean system supports farmers to prevent hygiene grades by labelling the 10 most common hygiene “hot spots” in their dairy with tags so they are easy to locate.
This is supported by Deosan’s onfarm training for farm teams with simple tips on how to quickly check their plant and bulk milk tank at these hot spots routinely. A highly visual dairy wall chart reinforces what these hot spots look like, describes how to check them and how to fix issues if they are found.
There are also special tags supplied so farmers can identify unique hot spots that may be known as a recurring problem area.
Keep It Clean is proactive and preventative and is assisting dairy farmers to avoid grades and demonstrate excellent hygiene compliance for dairy company dairy audits. It is fully backed by Deosan’s team of territory managers who have expert training in dairy hygiene, and are always there to assist with advice, training and trouble-shooting.
If you would like support with keeping it clean, visit www.deosan.co.nz or phone 0800 DEOSAN to be connected with your local Deosan territory manager.
