Autumn-born Simmental-cross bulls topped the sale at $1205, $3.21/kg, with other early-born bulls making $1000-$1030. If any part of the sale was softer it was the bulls, with prices easing after large volumes of cattle sold were since the last fair.

Heifers were mainly beef-Friesian lines of lighter weights, with $450-$580 paid for 100-150kg, making them the best-selling of the day.
A small yarding of store cattle followed with R2 Friesian and Hereford-Simmental making $2.75-$2.95/kg, and beef-cross 2-year steers $2.60-$2.70/kg.
A small offering of Friesian and beef-cross cows made $1.70-$1.80/kg.
