Fonterra Brands NZ has recalled 8700 bottles of fresh cream that may contain E coli.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

The affected 300ml and 500ml bottles of Anchor and Pams fresh cream have a best before date of January 21 and were distributed from Northland to Turangi, including Gisborne.

The cream had been distributed to retail and food-service outlets.

Fonterra Brands NZ managing director Peter McClure said the recall was being done because tests had shown E coli might be present.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience and concern this recall might cause but food safety and quality are our top priorities.”
