Extras in sheds

Strong, durable and very cost effective is how Michael Veitch of GreenWood describes the sheds his company designs and supplies throughout New Zealand.

“It’s the extra details that we incorporate into our GreenWood sheds that set them apart from our competitors,” he said.

Those extra details include 65mm cladding screws fixing all of the cladding instead of nails or shorter screws, bird-proof roof framing and extra wall framing which keeps walls straighter and stronger for longer.

“Our sheds are comfortably code-compliant everywhere in the country.”

GreenWood supplies a variety of farm buildings from hay barns to calf sheds to feed pad shelters as well as cattle yards and engineered farm bridges.

They can be built using either Greenwood-approved builders or the client’s own builder.

“We have standard designs but can also custom design a building. Over the years we have supplied hundreds of different farm buildings.”

Structural integrity is most important to GreenWood and, as well as using high-strength poles, extra wall framing and longer cladding screws, steel MULTI-Brace roof bracing is used instead of the narrower steel STRIP-Brace often found in other sheds.

“For many years now we have always maintained our commitment to designing and supplying very strong, durable buildings at very good prices. We’re very proud of our buildings.”

The Christchurch-based business has distribution centres throughout New Zealand and can deliver to any part of the country.
