March 4-May 13 – DairyNZ’s two-day cashflow budgeting workshops will be held around the country and are aimed at building confidence and financial skills in completing a monthly cashflow budget for the farm business. March 19-20 – The Dairy Women’s Network conference, themed Keeping your finger on the pulse, in Hamilton, brings dairy farming women the latest information on farming business, animals and people, from prioritising wellbeing to developing a leadership style. March 25 – The annual effluent expo organised by the Waikato Regional Council with sponsorship from DairyNZ will be held at the Mystery Creek Events Centre between 9am and 3.30pm. Effluent management from design, operation to monitoring will be exhibited, with a series of seminars running throughout the day. April 7-9 – Irrigation NZ biannual conference and expo, titled Securing the next generation’s future will be held in Napier and include irrigation-focused tours around Hawke’s Bay plains, a range of speakers including policymakers, industry and water users, and workshops.
