“After a lot of research and development including sourcing parts from overseas then extensive trialling and acquiring valuable feedback and suggestions from farmers, we knew the Cobra was something special, something unique.”

The design is a world first and provides farmers with the ability to put on dairy effluent at extremely low depths and rates and removes a number of the issues associated with long boom arms on the normal travelling irrigator.

“Added to this it has a wide range of travel speeds, the ability to do full or part circles and can vary its performance to suit different parts of the farm.

“The Hi-Tech Travelling Raingun is a revolutionary new product that will change the way farmers irrigate their farms,” he says.

It has a minimum application depth of 1mm, a minimum application rate of 4.2mm/hour, a wetted width of 46m to 96m, a travel distance up to 400m, travel speeds 1m to 7.5m a minute, a minimum PSI of 40 and a maximum PSI of 120. It features three speeds, plus can be used stationary, has a quality European-made raingun, a proven and unique drive unit, strong and rugged construction, wheels protected within the frame which is fully galvanised, a unique wire rope guide and it is designed to handle most terrain.

The Cobra can irrigate just on one side which is great for sidlings or to avoid going too close to drains.
