A2 products were included in the latest regulatory import approval listing from China, the company told NZX.
A2 and its Chinese partner, China State Farms, will now restart their market development programme after a lull while the registration issue was worked through, managing director Geoff Babidge said.
The company had sufficient product already in China to meet expected market demand while the import halt was in place.
A2’s Platinum brand infant formula is manufactured by Synlait Milk in Canterbury, and it was expected to receive the same registration, Babidge said.
The delays in China had not impacted production of the infant formula for other markets.
