A unique blend

Vitaphos is a unique mix of RPR, sulphur, and a blend of beneficial bacteria and fungi to give enhanced soil health and plant performance.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

It supplies large amounts of the nutrients phosphorus, sulphur, and calcium, and millions of live bacteria to stimulate microbial and worm activity in the soil along with the beneficial fungi which extend the root mass of plants, increasing uptake of things like phosphorus, zinc and water.

The RPR used has a citric solubility of about 45%. Essentially a supplier of phosphorus to the soil, RPR releases both calcium and phosphorus at a rate determined by the natural activity of worms and microbes.

RPR contains significant quantities of calcium and also has trace minerals that enhance life both above and below ground.

Increased biological activity ensures the plants grown are stronger and less prone to attack and damage by fleas, weevils and other predators.

With clover, that means more nitrogen is fixed naturally.

Extensive trial work in New Zealand meant growers could confidently witch from conventional suppliers of phosphorus to RPR, Vitaphos supplier Fertiliser NZ said.

Where sulphur, which was equally as effective and often more efficient than phosphorus, was a requirement it could be added to ensure maximum drymatter performance.

“Vitaphos stimulates the rapid organic cycles in the soil, releasing plant-available nutrients.”

Bacteria alone were credited with releasing 67% of annual plant food in a healthy soil.

Nitrogen, potash, extra sulphur, and trace elements could be added to individual needs and every tonne of Vitaphos had nearly half a tonne of liming value.
